The cottage was beautifully clean and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was stunning, with amazing walks right on our doorstep. We loved listening to the babbling brook as we drifted off to sleep. The owners really thought of everything, from the well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful touches like a welcome beer and small bottle of wine. The cottage was spacious and cozy, with underfloor heating and a lovely bathroom with a great shower and bath. The bedrooms were spacious, with plenty of storage. We also appreciated the provided towels and bedding. Sedbergh town was just a short walk away and had everything we needed. we highly recommend Chapel Beck for a perfect home away from home stay!
The only minor downsides were the firm mattress, which may not be to everyone's liking, and the lack of a TV in the main bedroom. However, these did not in any way hinder our stay.

The property had everything we needed, including fast internet, Netflix, and games to play. It truly felt like a home away from home. I had an absolutely amazing stay at Chapel Beck, Millthrop. The little river running beside the house was so soothing to listen to at night. Sue kept us well-informed throughout our stay and even surprised us with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates for New Year's Eve. The house itself was stunning and the pictures online really don't do it justice. The fast internet, Netflix, and games provided added to the overall enjoyment. It was such a clean and well-equipped property, with everything we could have possibly needed. The location was beautiful, with a charming local town just a short walk away. I fell in love with this place and would highly recommend it.
Some minor cons were the bunk beds, which could have been two single beds instead. Additionally, the parking space outside was a bit cramped, but there was additional parking nearby.

Wonderful property in a quiet location close to lovely walks in the Dales. The property itself was very spacious yet cosy, with modern shower/bathroom and new kitchen appliances. The host was very helpful, leaving basic provisions and a welcoming drink. The former chapel had a comfortable vibe and plentiful hot water. Ideal for a short break in the countryside.
Parking outside the property was a bit limited, although additional space was available nearby. With no surrounding garden area, it was a bit tricky taking our dog out every hour.

The host, Su, was incredibly helpful and even left us basic provisions and a welcoming drink. The former methodist chapel was charming and comfortable, with great facilities and a modern bathroom. The location was perfect, with lovely walks nearby and an easy walk into the village. we highly recommend this gem of a place.
The only minor drawbacks were the limited parking space outside the property and the slightly uncomfortable sofas. However, these were very minor inconveniences compared to the overall amazing experience we had.
